Cheltenham is blessed with a series of lovely parks for you to use and explore whilst visiting the town. The biggest is Pittville Park and this is only a short walk away from 28 Priory Street and Court House Boutique Hotel apartments. In the summer this park has a boating lake and pitch and putt golf course. Its kids playground is huge and over looking it all is the historic Pittville Pump rooms where in regencies times the spa mineral waters could be drunk. Well worth a visit. Nearer to Court house in the other direction is Sandford Park this is a series of interconnected parks that are great to explore. Nestle in the corner of which is Cheltenham Lido a must visit outdoor swimming pool built in the 1920s. In the town centre is the ornamental Imperial Gardens and then Montpellier Gardens. Both are used in the summer for Cheltenhams many festivals
